1. What Ghiyar is

In plain language: We're the marketplace, not the seller.

Ghiyar is a marketplace connecting buyers of used vehicle parts with independent suppliers in the UAE. Suppliers list, price, and sell parts; Ghiyar facilitates search, requests, quotes, and communication. The sale contract is between the buyer and the supplier.

Ghiyar does not arrange, operate, or guarantee delivery, collection, or return transport — logistics are agreed between buyer and supplier. Where the app shows third-party courier options, these are independent services booked directly by the buyer or supplier at their own cost; Ghiyar is not a party to them.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or over and provide a valid UAE phone number. You are responsible for activity under your account. Browsing does not require an account; requesting or selling parts does.

3. Buying parts

Quotes are binding on the supplier for 48 hours. Accepting a quote creates an order payable on handover, in cash or by card. Part condition grades (A, B, C) follow the definitions published in the app. Inspect the part before paying.

4. Returns and refunds

In plain language: 7 days, no questions — you and the supplier arrange the return.

Every delivered part may be returned within 7 calendar days of delivery for any reason. The buyer notifies the supplier through the app; return transport is arranged between buyer and supplier, either of whom may book an external courier at their own cost. The supplier refunds the full part price on receiving the part back.

Parts damaged by installation attempts beyond test-fitting may be refused. Consumer rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 are not limited by these terms.

5. Suppliers

Suppliers must hold a valid UAE trade licence. "Verified" indicates that Ghiyar has checked the trade licence and identity documents; it is not a guarantee of any individual part. Applying for it is a feature of the paid plan, but the badge itself is granted only by that document review and is refused, revoked or withheld on the documents alone — paying does not obtain it. Suppliers warrant that listed parts are lawfully owned, accurately described, and not stolen property.

6. Fees

Buying is free, and always is. Listing and quoting are free and unlimited for suppliers.

Ghiyar is in an open beta and charges suppliers nothing at all until the date published on the plans page. After the beta ends, Ghiyar charges suppliers a commission of 8% on completed orders — nothing on a part that does not sell, and nothing per member of a supplier’s team. Optional paid services, such as verification review, are shown with their price before purchase. Fees are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

In every case the buyer pays the supplier directly at handover. No money for a part passes through Ghiyar at any point; any commission is invoiced to the supplier separately and is never deducted from what the buyer pays.

7. Prohibited use

No listing of stolen, counterfeit, or safety-recalled parts. No airbags or seatbelt pretensioners without certification. No circumventing the platform to avoid fees after connecting through Ghiyar. No scraping or misuse of other users’ data.

8. Liability

Used parts are sold as described with the stated grade. To the extent permitted by law, Ghiyar's liability is limited to the price of the affected order. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Disputes go first to Ghiyar support, then to the competent courts of Dubai.
