Cash or card on handover — you pay the supplier only after inspecting the part. Nothing is ever charged in the app, and Ghiyar never holds your money.

The supplier grades each part A, B or C, best to most worn, and shows photos so you can judge for yourself. Grading is the supplier’s assessment rather than an inspection by Ghiyar — which is why you inspect before paying, and why the 7-day return covers you either way.

The supplier, or a courier that you or the supplier books, or you collect from the yard — whichever you agree. Ghiyar does not operate delivery, employ drivers or take responsibility for the journey; it shows you the options and passes the courier’s updates through.

Any delivered part can be returned within 7 calendar days, for any reason. You tell the supplier through the app; return transport is arranged between the two of you, and either side may book a courier at their own cost. The supplier refunds the full part price when the part reaches them.

Then nothing happens: you have not paid, no return window starts, and the order is recorded as refused. Inspecting before paying is the whole point of paying on handover.

That Ghiyar has checked the yard’s trade licence and the owner’s identity documents. Applying is a feature of the paid plan, but the badge is granted by that review and by nothing else — paying does not obtain it. It says the business is real; it is not a guarantee of any individual part.

Register your yard in the supplier portal, list your stock, and quote on requests that match what you carry. Listing is unlimited and free. Ghiyar takes no commission during the open beta; after it ends, 8% on completed orders. Either way the buyer pays you directly at handover — no money passes through Ghiyar.

Ghiyar is a UAE marketplace: buyers, suppliers and prices are all in the UAE. Some yards will ship to other GCC countries and say so on their profile, but that is an arrangement with that yard — shipping, customs and payment terms are agreed directly with them, not through Ghiyar.
